The downloadable freebie party continues, courtesy of the artist-in-residence here at my house (my husband!). Today, the download is a printable file to add some fun style to Christmas morning at your house.
Do you wrap a present or two (or more!) to your child and label it “from Santa”? I thought that making those Santa gift tags a little fancier might make the illusion even more memorable for your child. So several of the gift tags that Matthew designed are intended to add a special North Pole touch to your packages.
There are also some normal “to” and “from” gift tags when you’re not pretending the gift is from Santa. And there are even some plain Merry Christmas ones, which I think would be great for office presents or teacher gifts, where they’re all the same.
The file includes two pages. The second page is in color, with a brownish distressed background and red type. My color printer isn’t working, so I just printed the black and white ones. I’m also out of colored paper. But I think that these would be really adorable if you printed the black and white version on a colored paper. Or you could glue colored paper behind white tags like I printed out.
The tags are all hand drawn and digitized. Isn’t his handwriting lovely?
These are way more fun and stylish than my normal method of folding a bit of the wrapping paper in half, writing inside it, and taping it on.
Do you want to download your own? It’s a PDF, so just be sure that you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. You probably do, so don’t worry!
And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the free downloadable desktop/iPhone backgrounds he created for winter and Christmas:
Thanks for visiting, and we hope you enjoy these printable tags!
