Yesterday, I spent several hours sanding the markings off of 30 yardsticks. I used a belt sander, as you can see in the photo above. That made the job much easier.
I actually bought 50 yardsticks from Lowes. Several men had to stop and ask me what in the world I was doing with so many. I joked that I was using them in a row instead of a measuring tape. Ha! Surprisingly, after all the questions while I shopped, the cashier didn’t even look at me funny when I bought them all.
Why did I buy and sand down that many yardsticks? I’ll be back in day or so with the answer!
