Tiny House Living Inspiration

It’s three in the morning, and I’m still on the couch and on the internet. Any other moms out there who love alone time enough to sacrifice sleep? It’s so peaceful at night, with just a sleeping puppy and me in here.

I’ve been down the rabbit hole of late night web browsing. I started on Etsy, where I found an article about small space living. They featured one particular family who lives in 320 square feet. I’ve embedded the video at the top of this post.

From there, I watched a documentary about all sorts of small and tiny houses. It’s honestly not that well filmed, and the narrator’s voice bugs me. Isn’t that an outstanding recommendation that you should watch it too? It was interesting, and actually very inspiring, though. Most of it focuses on the owners of the small spaces, and they’re great. So here’s the link.

The lady from the Etsy article I mentioned above also has a blog about living in 320 square feet. I recommend heading over there for a visit. For one thing, it’s a great reminder of just how large my 1250 square foot house really is. I have a junked up garage that is probably the size of her entire house. And yet, in many ways, her space probably functions better than mine.

Clearly, I shouldn’t blog at 3 in the morning. I’m not 21 anymore, and beautiful words just don’t come as easily to me this late (or early) in the day. But I was just so inspired by taking a look at all of these small spaces that I had to share.

Goodnight and good morning to you all.
