30 yardsticks on my wall = board and batten!
I’m still at least a day away from being done with this project. I still need to add top shelves, more coats of paint, caulk, and hooks. But I just had to pop in to show you guys what I’ve been doing with all those yardsticks I mentioned yesterday.
Yardsticks, from Lowes at least, are $.69 each. Lattice strips, of equal width and thickness (1.5″ x .25″) are $.75 a foot. All that sanding to make the yardsticks into usable lumber means that I saved over a third on my lumber costs!
